In the year 2022, the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) seeks to tell the story of his life, or afterlife, to renowned journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian). Beginning in early 20th century New Orleans, Louis' story follows his relationship with the vampire Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) and their formed family, including teen fledgling Claudia (Bailey Bass). 7/7 It took almost three decades for the famous saga of Anne Rice to receive a dignified television adaptation. Her Vampire Chronicles (and Mayfair Witches) spawned a total of 18 books. Talk of a sequel to the film Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles had been circulating non-stop since 1994. It is therefore very gratifying that together with her son Christopher, Anne witnessed the beginning of production of several concurrently developing series and approved the scripts, etc. Although she did not live to see their premieres, as she passed away at the end of last year, her work continues to be nurtured by Christopher, who had already established himself as her successor during her lifetime. Together with his mother, he co-wrote, for example, the second and third parts of the novel The Mummy, or Ramses the Damned. So, what is the beginning of the television series Interview with the Vampire like? Quite pleasant. There were indeed many changes, but none contradictory to the essence of the material.
