Sinopsis(1)
Zatoichi meets a superior swordsman in episode four. Arriving in the village of Shimonita, Ichi learns that a local gang has placed a bounty on his head. A powerful hired ronin attacks Ichi and nearly claims his life. However, once a defenseless woman is slain by the assassin Ichi can no longer control his rage. Excellent episode, truly excellent. The color was a perfect fit, but most importantly, the action scenes and the emotions that intertwine with the action seamlessly and beautifully. At the end, you will be holding your breath because the action is stunning - one against dozens - but you will also have something heavy in your throat when you realize that the truth can be quite harsh sometimes.
