Sometimes deeply moving and other times too brutally manipulative. The lighthearted mood suited me fully until about two-thirds of the way through, and even though I knew that if it lasted until the end, Patch Adams wouldn't have a memorable conclusion to rely on, it would still be more pleasant for me than the painful and unexpected twist. Because of it, I probably wouldn't watch this movie again. If you want to cry like I did, you can't miss it.

Uno de los pocos filmes que me llevó a lágrimas grandes y prolongadas, y arraigó en mí el deseo de estudiar medicina y trabajar en una clínica dirigida por un doctor interpretado por Robin Williams. También fue la primera vez que noté a Monica Potter, quien también me llamó la atención en la secuela Libre como el viento.

Even though it's sometimes very sentimental, I just enjoyed this. Robin Williams shows that he can beautifully connect the comedic and dramatic aspects, and in his case, it simply works perfectly. Yes, at times it's pathetic and unnecessarily unbelievable, but it's simply a beautiful story about a man who only wanted to help.
