En un momento en que la genética ha hecho enormes progresos, erradicando las enfermedades y poniendo fin al hambre, el piloto de helicóptero Adam Gibson está algo perplejo en cuanto a la evolución del mundo. Y aún lo está más cuando descubre en su casa a "su" clon celebrando "su" cumpleaños con "su" familia. Unos asesinos a sueldo, contratados por Michael Drucker, uno de los empresarios de biotecnología más ricos del planeta, se han lanzado a la caza de Adam. An interesting premise, but a weak script that gradually devolves into a parody of itself. Of course, some of the futuristic visions are fine and quite believable, but there’s nothing else that makes this film compelling. There is no suspense, the action is lukewarm and the cliché at the end is quite tiresome. The most entertaining part of the whole film then is Arnold's attempt at acting. But even when he does break, his smile will always look like he just stepped on a thumbtack with his bare foot.

Either a good actor and a good sci-fi whodunit, or Arnold and lots of action. The two just don't go together. That's why this film looks the way it does.
