Jessica (Hayley Erin) is alone, afraid, and on the run from entities she doesn’t know, for reasons she doesn’t understand. Elsa (Sonya Walger), the fixer assigned to bring her in, alive or otherwise, is scarcely more aware of the situation than her prey. A routine assignment on the surface, only it’s not: Jessica is unexpectedly skilled at moving under the grid, Elsa’s resourcefulness is undercut by the early stages of ALS, and the stakes of the pursuit are rising to apocalyptic proportions. As their paths converge, we and they learn that nothing is as it seems and that the gravest threats can come from within ourselves. Produced by T. Justin Ross. writer/director John Rosman’s debut feature is a taut, terrifying thriller, both reflective and jolting, with twists and turns unexpected and unforgettable. (Florida Film Festival)
