Poco antes de la guerra civil, el joven Fernando, decide desertar. Se esconde en una finca del campo y es acogido por un pintor excéntrico (Manolo), también retirado por sus ideas políticas. Fernando encuentra allí a las cuatro hijas de su mentor (Rocío, Violeta, Clara y Luz), con las que entabla relaciones sucesivamente, en la duda de saber de quién enamorarse. This is a playful film about how the idyllic countryside is not in fact idyllic at all and how it is quite complicated to get along with women when a man falls in love with several of them. Or maybe he doesn't fall in love with them, maybe he just likes having several of them in his life. So what if they're sisters? The presentation of the film is so pleasant that it will likely entertain audiences.
