Sinopsis(1)

In this, the final episode of the horror trilogy, we re-visit Mike and Reggie fifteen years after the events of the first film. The orphaned brothers have come together once again to battle the forces of evil. As they travel through various alternate dimensions in search of the infamous Tall Man, the two must take care not to cross the path of a floating, three-pronged sphere that could turn their brains into so much yogurt. inglés A clear departure from horror to fantasy with comedy elements. The addition of two new characters in charge of the comedy reliefs brings a significant loss of atmosphere, which you can still see here and there, but it’s not even nearly as powerful as in the second episode. I wasn’t too happy with this departure from the first two episodes, but that doesn’t mean that the third Phantasm left me with a particularly negative impression. It’s still a slightly above par spectacle saved in great part by the climax and the traditionally excellent Angus Scrimm. ()

inglés Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead is an American production that goes hand in hand with the previous movies. However, I felt that Don Coscarelli has eased off the gas a bit, and it is not as interesting anymore, especially in terms of the special effects. However, there are still some great scenes with real balls, although there just are not enough scenes with practical effects. In addition, the narrative is a bit bloated in a bad way. ()
