Witch Hunter Robin

I was expecting something completely different, I'm glad I didn't get it. What I got was something that exceeded my expectations... I was just stupidly impressed by the title and had already ticked off a completely different category, I have no idea why I was expecting a stream of heaven from my nose and panties. That didn't happen. Not in the slightest. And when I say not in the slightest, I mean it, because this anime is dark, full of angst, fear, weird words, and good episode titles. Interesting opening sequence, I kept wondering why it was crawling across the screen like that... but the music is great. It suited the weather. I'm glad I was entertained from the very first episode, clearly somewhere around the middle – or before that, who knows – I got a bit tired of the plots, but then it picked up. What Robin went through, well, I think I would have collapsed. [MINI-SPOILER] You could almost feel the pressure, the terror, when they first shot at her, when they first tried to kill her with her own lines. [END MINI-SPOILER] Well, it made my head spin...
