Nelly (Catherine Deneuve), tras casarse en Caracas con Vittori (Luigi Vannucchi), agobiada por las dudas del matrimonio, se escapa. Vittori la busca desesperadamente pero ella pide ayuda a un hombre de mediana edad francés que acaba de conocer, Martin (Yves Montand). Martin cree que ha acabado la aventura tras pagarle un billete de avión hasta París, sin embargo, Nelly volverá a aparecer en su vida. (Filmin)

Boring and annoying. Deneuve and Montand are running around some forgotten island, with him occasionally slapping her or hitting her on the head with a rock (that would explain a lot). There is almost no reason for this, their past, which is supposed to play a big role in the movie, is not explained much. The ending lies in the realm of dumb clichés.
