En el que debería ser el mejor día de su vida, Wendy (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) celebra con sus amigos la noche de su graduación del instituto en un parque de atracciones. Están a punto de subir a una montaña rusa cuando de repente Wendy se asusta. Su novio, Jason (Jesse Moss), la tranquiliza diciéndole que solo se pone nerviosa porque sabe que no podrá controlar lo que va a ocurrir. Wendy se domina pero en cuanto baja el arnés de seguridad, atrapándola en el asiento, tiene una premonición: va a haber un terrible accidente en el que la montaña rusa se convertirá en una trampa mortal para ella y sus amigos. Quizá sin la gran originalidad de la primera película y la escena inicial de la segunda, pero con las escenas más jugosas y picantes, incluso salpicadas de asesinatos individuales. Y la química entre el simpático y bien interpretado dúo de actores es también sorprendentemente funcional. Satisfacción, en el contexto de películas de terror sobre adolescentes y la tercera entrega de la serie.

This is a completely identical copy of the first film and does absolutely nothing new. Wong is absolutely terrible and has no talent. While all of the deaths in the second film were a magnificent visual feast thanks to director Ellis, in Wong's rendition, the deaths are godforsaken routines that certainly won't entice the audience. This also applies alongside the assumption that the plot is absolutely devoid of any side plots (the FBI agents in the first film, the interesting idea for outsmarting death in the second). Final Destination 3 is a woefully below-average "dead teen movie" that's not even worth the attention of 14-year-olds trying to watch a "cool horror" movie.

This is what happens when you boil water that has already been boiled twice. That is, trivially, unnecessarily and without any effect or even benefit. It is unrecognizable from the boiling of the first and the second, only the water evaporates more and more with each boiling process.
