Es el cumpleaños número 24 de Julie (Erica Durance). Lo celebra con sus amigos y su novio Nick (Eric Lively), con quien discute acerca de su futuro. De vuelta a la ciudad, sufren un terrible accidente. Nick despierta en el hospital, ha sido el único sobreviviente del fatal suceso. Sin embargo, Nick tiene una manera de traer a su novia de vuelta: utilizar sus poderes mentales para cambiar el pasado a través de sus recuerdos. Compared to the first film, this one has more directness, but the plot has dried out. The logical lapses in the actual space-time travel don't matter much, but going back in time because of a badly done job at work is really messed up. Still, some of the visual eye candy is really catching (the warping of space) and for the director of Mortal Kombat 2, it's a few major leaps forward. Eric Lively also definitely has better charisma than Ashton Kutcher, so overall I give it 2 ½.
