Sinopsis(1)

Sleeper Cell takes viewers behind the veil of an U.S. home-grown terrorist group, tracking the harrowing challenges faced by a FBI agent determined to learn its secrets. Having posed as a prisoner inside a federal penitentiary, a young agent (Michael Ealy) develops contacts that enable him to infiltrate an Islamic terrorist cell in Los Angeles. The cell is led by an intimidating, charismatic extremist (Oded Fehr), who considers all acts of violence moral when serving the greater good of his cause. But early in the investigation something goes wrong, placing lives and the integrity of a three-year mission in serious jeopardy. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)

inglés A look at a terrorist cell in the territory of the USA through the eyes of undercover agents. A big plus of this series is the topicality of the subject matter and mainly the “controversy" around the characterization of the characters. This is no black and white situation - everybody has his/her own reasons for doing what he/she does. On the other hand, the series is interesting particularly thanks to the topic whose potential they don’t manage to exploit to the full. And if it weren’t for the topic and characters, Sleeper Cell has very little to offer, since in reality it is fairly mediocre and run-of-the-mill in all other respects. ()
