Sinopsis(1)
1940, el ejército de Hitler amenaza Europa. Mientras tanto los habitantes de la pequeña y rural villa de Kent viven tranquilamente. Chris, un joven granjero, sueña con dejar su pueblo e ir a luchar con el ejército por tierras desconocidas. Su oportunidad llega cuando Churchill, desde su búnker en Downing Street, insta a los ciudadanos a salvar el país. Todo el ejército británico está atrapado en Dunkirk. Así, Chris, Tom –otro granjero amigo de Chris- el borrachuzo párroco local y su hija Daisy (amor platónico de Chris) se embarcan en la aventura de liberar el país del terror nazi. Cuando todo esté perdido y Churchill decida que eso de no rendirse está pasado de moda, Chris conseguirá salvar Inglaterra de los alemanes... Pero no de los escoceses. (Filmin)
