La primera película no se merecía esto. John Cho y Kal Penn son igualmente geniales, y la química entre amigos aún funciona perfectamente, pero el humor es mayormente un nivel por debajo del original. La trama con los agentes del gobierno es particularmente embarazosa y aburrida. Sin embargo, me reí unas cuantas veces, y la fiesta con pechos desnudos y la postal final desde Ámsterdam me gustaron. Pero si no fuera por eso, ni siquiera le daría 2 estrellas.

The desperate sequence of illogicalities and awkward coincidences is at least somewhat offset by the occasional twinge of a good joke and a great cameo by N. P. Harris. Yet the rest is the opposite of the first film, which benefited from the atmosphere of a stoner adventure. That’s because this is just a dull road movie where the Cuba-Texas route promised much more than a few farting, fisting a pack of weed, and a faint wink at political incorrectness. It’s a missed opportunity and sparks fears of the planned third film.

No, it's not quite it. Right from the start, there are toilet humor jokes that simply aren't funny. However, these two characters, just because you see them again, you kind of fall in love with them. Or something like that. They are tolerable, which is definitely good because otherwise it would be unwatchable. Some jokes are good, but there aren't many of them. Kumar is quite annoying in this episode, but in the end, of course, he saves the day. Oh well, at times it's terribly cliché.
