inglés The trailer for the film really got to me, so I was looking forward to it. I was a bit worried, after all, it is the third sequel, but then I finally watched the film with a lot of kids in the cinema. I must say, it definitely didn't disappoint me. The connection with the circus, which is evident from the above image, is a crucial step that ultimately brought the film to a successful conclusion. Of course, the main weight of the whole script rests on the shoulders of the well-known quartet, but new characters join them who are definitely worth paying attention to. I won't go into too much detail about the impact of penguins, monkeys, and lemurs, they have their classic place here, but the circus characters are simply the best. You will fall in love with the jaguar Gia at first sight, the Russian tiger Vitaly is a classic villain who gradually changes, and the sea lion Stefano is a nice crazy and silly circus spokesperson. There is also a villain in the form of an animal hunter who doesn't have a lion trophy on her wall and really wants one. Thanks to her, some scenes turn into literally action performances. Considering that the story takes place a lot in a circus environment, the visual aspect is also subjected to it. When it comes to the final performance of the circus performers, it is simply breathtaking. I know, it's very colorful, very exaggerated, but shouldn't a circus be like that? The amazing performances, even though animated, simply captivated me. The script is not perfect, on the contrary, it heavily relies on the plot of previous films, as well as the basic storyline, but that doesn't change the fact that the circus melody keeps playing in my head and I keep smiling about it. It intrigued and entertained me. That's how an animated film should be when it's not completely original. More: http://www.filmovy-denik.cz/2012/10/prach-uspesna-pokracovani-animaku.html ()

inglés Heroic development of animal escapades completed. From a scream-filled adventure with minimal wit, through a crazy comedy with minor mishaps, to a highly absurd goal. Fans of the first part must nervously sit up when they see the singing Frenchwoman or the valiant tiger jumping through the keyhole, but I almost tore my diaphragm. Perfectly nonsensical lines, a patched-together story, and a new influx of bizarre characters ultimately make it the best Madagascar. The scene with Fireworks by Katy Perry took my breath away, and I understood during it how perfectly a series that started timidly can be saved. 85% ()

inglés I can’t help it, but the quality of this franchise improves with every episode. Once again, the filmmakers played with it beautifully and created an extremely entertaining mix of crazy action scenes that cannot be compared to the first one. The old characters entertain with even more verve and enthusiasm, the new ones fit in perfectly, and the sequence of great ideas and jokes just never ends. It's not without moralising like "how could you lie to us that you're from the circus", but that's the mainstay of films like this, as well as the spectacular, crazy and, of course, happy ending that the excited kids are waiting for. I wasn't expecting it, but in the battle with Ice Age 4, Madagascar 3 triumphs! If it goes on like this, I would welcome at least one more sequel... ()

inglés After an average first film and an above average second, whilst here is... a below average third film. Annoying. Too much shouting. Crazy, but at the same time hardly funny at all (an honorable exception is Vitaly the tiger and his jumping through hoops). With great animation and dubbing (Gia the jaguar and Jessica Chastain's cute accent), but also with a rather dull story full of exactly those repeated lessons you expect... No, no. So we didn't hit it off with the third Madagascar at first. But I'll probably give it a second chance sometime, just like I did the first one recently. ()

inglés Really stunning animation, one of the best in recent times, good soundtrack and then a few good jokes, especially thanks to the penguins. That concludes the list of positives. If it had been a quarter of an hour longer, I wouldn't have even finished it. What a piece of crap. The story was written by someone who wasn’t right in the head. It’s just dull, dull, dull. And, most importantly, the moral of the story for children is that the circus is the best place for animals to be. Another disappointment this year. ()
