Jesus hates us. Man! I watched the whole thing without skipping. On my part, a resolute NO (though technically it’s quite OK and MAYBE a COUPLE of PEOPLE will like it a little, so one point at least). The original The Wicker Man was 10/10, the remake with Cage was unintentionally funny, I guess, but this one is just meh.

"The Wicker Tree" is not a horror movie, first and foremost. Secondly, it is not even a good film because you actually never properly figure out why you should watch it. Hardy remakes himself, delivering the story in a new but completely tasteless and thoughtless way. What he once said, he has already said, and he has not added anything new to it. Although the ending may seem different, in reality, it is not, and it keeps going with the same idea. Overall, it is simply bad.
