Sinopsis(1)

In a remote village, a shocking secret lives on with each and every baby born. It is said that all children are creatures of God...except here. Now for a group of lost tourists, every conception of 'family' will soon be sliced to pieces. And for a doomed few, the ultimate terror is about to hit home. Plague Town tells the nightmarish tale of a family traveling through Ireland, and the horrors that await them upon stumbling into a remote village populated by deformed, homicidal youngsters and the parents who will do whatever it takes to protect them. inglés Man! I can’t remember the last time something like this happened to me. I expected some silly amateur bollocks, but what I got was the best horror film in at least two months. I’m reading reviews on IMDB and I see one user that beautifully summarised it with the words "gory, funny and scary", and I couldn’t agree more. They don’t spare blood, the gore is very good (given the obvious low budget), it has likeable characters that add an element of entertainment during the first act (a quarrelsome family similar to Dead End), and from a certain point forward, the dread and the creepy atmosphere never fade. My current rating is still under the effect of the shock from a low-key film turning out to be a horror gem, so for the time being I’m rationally refraining from granting the highest score, but it’s more than good enough for 4*.
