inglés A far more interesting film than Bogliano’s previous amateur trash, but my feelings remain mixed. That said, I’m glad that this horror talent from Argentina has opened a little to the public and his new film can attract not only the fans of “100 ways to rape someone”, but also fans of cinema in general. The way the film combines excellent music with detailed images of “dewy” human skin arouses very unpleasant sensations, almost as if your own skin was “dewy”. Everything is very atmospheric and unsettling, the scenes with the cellar dwellers were like out of my own nightmares, for instance. At certain moments, it reaches four stars. BUT! The plot is so incredibly questionable, artificial and unlikely! The way the good and evil characters miss each other in that one building is funnier than in The Collector, and the chat with an evidently nearly dead person made me say WTF out loud (even though it’s VERY effective!). The plot is shoddy from the very beginning, but I still recommend this film. Don’t expect anything great, though. ()
