Sinopsis(1)
Daniel acepta acoger en su casa a Julia, la hija de un amigo de la infancia que acaba de suicidarse. Mientras Laura, su mujer, va consiguiendo que Julia recobre las ganas de vivir, Daniel empieza a sentir como amenazas algunas de las acciones de la niña, que despiertan en él miedos y sentimientos de un pasado que había decidido enterrar. Nothing new under the sun. By the current standards of Spanish genre films, Dictation is sinfully ordinary and tame, but it’s still a pretty well done job (or rather, routine). What I liked was that of the two possible endings (which pretty much every viewer will deduct after about fifteen minutes, if not less), the film goes for the one that makes the most sense. Fine to watch once for fans of Spanish thrillers, but it’s not a must-see. 3*
