Terry Jones (La vida de Brian) dirige esta comedia en la que unos alienígenas muy especiales, Terry Jones, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Gilliam y Michael Palin, es decir, los Monty Python, deciden volar nuestro planeta por los aires, pero antes nos darán una última oportunidad. Eligen a un tipo al azar, un profesor de instituto, interpretado por Simon Pegg (Zombies party, Arma fatal, Star Trek) y le conceden poder absoluto pudiendo cumplir hasta el más loco de sus deseos. Desde hacer hablar a su perro (al que da voz el desaparecido Robin Willliams) hasta conseguir para un amigo la mujer de sus sueños. The idea itself is not that original, but the approach it is presented with is great. Simon Pegg is simply a great comedian and here he demonstrates it fully. He was given a great story and he used it to the maximum. Kate Beckinsale also seemed nice to me once again and the special effects were also well done. A beautifully banal film that I really enjoyed.
