Lupe, un aspirante a DJ y su hermana pequeña, Alicia, viven en Esperanza Valley, una comunidad que está sofocada por generaciones consumidoras de heroína. Cuando Alicia es testigo de un asesinato y desaparece, Lupe empezará un peligroso viaje que le llevará por el lado más oscuro y podrido de la ciudad. Pronto descubrirá que para poder salvar a la persona que más le importa, tendrá que emplear el poder que existe en ella y conectar con lo divino que la rodea. (Filmin)

A film that is not entitled to anything. It doesn't have anything outstanding. It is not interesting in terms of storytelling, it is not gritty, and it doesn't have characters worth watching. Moreover, it is all fairly professionally shot, which means the visuals look good. The shots themselves are not that impressive, and the camera certainly doesn't show off too much. There is an attempt to evoke some emotions, but it only achieves a tired yawn at best.
