The designation thriller is quite peculiar, although due to the overall atmosphere it can sort of fit. However, you will still have the feeling that it is forced and you actually won't get that real tension, because just when it seems that something could happen and really tip the scales towards a thriller, the next scene changes that. It's a shame, this was actually a pretty good opportunity.
