Reseñas (3)
The 3rd Season is even better than the previous one, which was slowly becoming impossible to hope for. Yet the combination of raids on seven Anglo-Saxon kingdoms and on Paris, together with domestic stories in which no one is sure where reality ends and the games of the Asgardian gods begin, is a joy... ()
Season 3 started off (and continued) very awkwardly, so I was pretty disappointed. There was a significant change for the better in Episode 6, which lasted until the end of the season. For me, the most striking episode was the eighth, which featured the attack on Paris and the best action of the series so far. I really enjoyed the character of Egbert, King of Wessex. Some episodes would have been rather bland without his scheming and manipulations. ()
The previous season was tighter and more focused. This one is a bit more sweeping and epic, especially when it comes to the trip to Paris. There's a bit more religious themes compared to the previous seasons, but it's still bearable. ()
