The Canyons

Thriller, que evidentemente se inspira en los clásicos del género, pero en última instancia parece ser solo una imitación de los mismos. Me sorprendió un poco cuando pensé que era como copiar a B.E. Ellis y ahora me entero de que él es el autor del guion. Se podía ver con escenas eróticas intercaladas y los senos de Lindsay Lohan, pero se trata de un thriller genérico que se puede ver en mil formas y con elenco mejor o peor. Me inquieta el hecho de que me parece que el mejor desempeño fue por parte de Deen, un actor porno, de todos los involucrados. (02.10.2016)

A film in which a well-known porn actor appears in the main role, moreover, a film by a person who has some interesting films to his credit (remake of "Cats People") and also contributed to even more interesting ones ("Raging Bull" or "Taxi Driver") script-wise. It sounds a bit dangerous, but it turns out that hiring a porn actor may not be a problem at all. The problem lies with other people, who call themselves actors, and eventually also with the script, which pretends to be a big, suspenseful thriller, although the tension is created only by music and the presence of some violence. Everything is mostly off-screen. Lindsay shows her breasts, but everyone is probably used to that by now. (14.01.2014)
