Hélène Masson (Annie Girardot) es guapa, inteligente y rica pero no es feliz. Su cansado ritmo de vida y los primeros signos del envejecimiento le impiden estar bien consigo misma y, desesperada, decide seguir el consejo de su amigo Gérôme (Robert Hirsch). En el Instituto de Talasoterapia han descubierto una sustancia que contiene células de animales que consigue rejuvenecer la piel. Hélène se muestra entusiasmada y feliz ante ese descubrimiento, sin embargo, cuando aparece el cuerpo sin vida de Gérôme y descubre que varios trabajadores han desaparecido, sabe que algo horrible está pasando en ese Instituto. Dr. Devilers runs a renowned private clinic for those suffering from anxiety, fear of aging, and a lack of sex with Dr. Devilers. Some might be put off by his name, but you'll realize something’s truly off when it's not a blue Portugal being served for dinner, but rather one "exhausted" body falling into the pool. It had some potential, but Alain Jessua, accompanied by not-so-fitting African music, awkwardly blends satire with suspense, which is ultimately confirmed by the amusing finale. If you’ve never seen a film where a naked Delon runs into the sea with his bits swinging from north to south, here’s your chance.
