Leon Leigh, coleccionista de antigüedades, ha heredado la casa de su madre, con la que perdió el contacto hace tiempo y que se quitó la vida. Pronto se dará cuenta de que el caserón es en realidad un santuario en el que la mujer rendía culto a los ángeles. Una serie de extraños fenómenos llevarán a Leon a creer que el espíritu de su madre sigue en la casa y está tratando de ponerse en contacto con él. (Filmin)

I can glowingly recommend this film, even though it’s not for everyone (a religious theme, not very good effects and a slow pace). I loved how splendidly old-fashioned, proper and honest it looks. It has the atmosphere of a beautiful old house full of antiques; actually, it also has a pretty nice story, though quite intimate. And most importantly, I was really scared several times. Three and a half rounded up for an impressive feature début.
