inglés The Conquest of the Planet of the Apes would not have been such a big disaster and I think it could actually be an acceptable genre film if it hadn't been preceded by three films and an excellent novel. From the perspective of genre fans, it's understandably a very exhausted theme, which has also been overexploited and strayed far from the idea of the original novel. However, the screenwriter remained the same, only giving up on the original idea and simply wrote an allegory for the political atmosphere of the late 60s, specifically the racial unrest and political storms against the establishment. The ape masks are mere props and the plot of the previous films is simply a starting point. But the fans and viewers were simply too tired and the film had a heavily underrated budget. It also overlooked some logical aspects of the story. Overall impression: 40%. ()

inglés A quite decent monkey revolution may be taking place (with a few scenes at the level of the current trilogy), but it's too short and ambiguous for my taste. Everything happens so fast and the viewer has a problem with who to actually cheer for (if anyone) and what to think about it all... As if even the creators themselves don't know. Caesar is more Hitler than Spartacus, plus the film contradicts the idea of the original Planet of the Apes, in which man destroyed everything himself and only then the monkeys took over. ()

inglés Something is communicated here from the express train, and it's very short, but on the other hand, there is a noticeable interesting development happening on Earth. It's not surprising that filmmakers took this particular stage from the beginning when they embarked on the new, digital version of the Planet of the Apes. Nevertheless, I quite like this film series as well, and even though it may look cheap in some places and it's more focused on action, there are still excellent ideas present. ()
