Banana Joe es un simpático y bonachón comerciante de plátanos que vive en una pequeña isla del Caribe. Un día se ve obligado a echar de su aldea a los hombres de Alonso Torcillo, un rico y poderoso empresario que pretende construir una factoría de plátanos. It's not the same without Hill, but Joe is a nice guy. We've seen the confrontation of the good-hearted yokel with the wild city life many times before, so Banana Joe can't surprise us with anything, but at least we'll have a good time in his presence and enjoy the title track, which has a liveliness that beats almost the whole movie.
