Duncan's (Ken Marino) life is a real pain in the ass. Tormented by a manipulative, crooked boss (Patrick Warburton), a nagging mother (Mary Kay Place) with a boyfriend 1/3 her age, a deadbeat new age dad (Stephen Root), and a sweet, yet pressuring, wife (Gillian Jacobs), his mounting stress starts to trigger an insufferable gastrointestinal reaction. Out of ideas and at the end of his rope, Duncan seeks the help of a hypnotherapist (Peter Stormare), who helps him discover the root of his unusual stomach pain: a pintsized demon living in his intestine that, triggered by excessive anxiety, forces its way out and slaughters the people who have angered him. Out of fear that his intestinal gremlin may target its wrath on the wrong person, Duncan attempts to befriend it, naming it Milo and indulging it to keep its seemingly insatiable appetite at bay. Una comedia de terror cursi sobre un hombre al que le sale un monstruo rectal del culo (que forma parte de su subconsciente y fue creado por el estrés acumulado) y mata a la gente por la que el protagonista tiene sentimientos negativos. Basura de clase C que tiene sus puntos (bastante gracioso Peter Stormare como terapeuta), pero ni siquiera el ocasional chiste gracioso tapa el terrible fracaso, el pésimo guión y trama y el humor fecal sin gracia.

When a demon crawls out of your rectum, against which even a morning detox after an evening of eating chilli is a walk in the park, something is wrong. The film’s ideas are good, and it’s got a bit of bizarreness, but otherwise, it's an extreme bit of boredom, in which the fecal humor isn’t the issue, as the creators promised, but rather the lack thereof. It’s funny at the elementary school level.
