While Trnka had a cybernetic grandmother, Lynch soon planted and grew her (or actually had her in organic form). A certain generational frustration has culminated in many projects on a similar theme, these being the most pressing. Freud would be happy for all of us.

Trnka showcases his animation mastery, complemented by a strange, depressive story that truly has horror elements that will send shivers down your spine. There are truly innovative ideas here that you don't come across every day, such as the design of the cybernetic grandmother itself, which is surprising.
