En el año 1919, después de la sangrienta Primera Guerra Mundial, las calles de la península turca de Galípoli todavía huelen a pólvora y a sangre cuando se intenta volver a la normalidad. Hasta este lugar se desplaza un padre de origen australiano con la pequeña esperanza de encontrar los cadáveres de sus hijos, quienes desaparecieron a lo largo de la guerra. Russell Crowe has embarked on his own film, which focuses on Australian war history and the battle in Turkey, which ended very tragically for the Australian side. Crowe is a good actor and carries the whole film quite comfortably, but he is not trying to stand out here, although he succeeds in doing so. The film is sometimes too melodramatic and plays it too safe, but I gave it without any problems.
