inglés The biggest weakness of The Heirs, surprisingly, is the script. The plot flagged at times and kept spinning around in one place. As always, Min-ho delivers what is expected of him, which is to lure you in with his face. Only Shin-hye can't be consoled and keeps crying and crying... The other actors (with a few exceptions) give pretty good performances. Some of the characters were absolutely brilliant. I'm thinking of Tan’s mom and brother, Eun-sang's mom, Bo-na, Young-do, and others. The soundtrack is catchy, too, and has been playing in the car with us since the first episodes. I could find a lot of positives and negatives, but in the end I actually enjoyed it... sometimes more, sometimes less. 3.5 stars. ()

inglés The episodes in the U.S.? I almost quit watching. Things got better after they moved to Korea. Still, it wasn't anything special and there were so many of those kinds of actors and actresses. My impressions of the whole series? Park Shin-Hye cried, a lot, and when she didn't, she looked like she wanted to. Lee Min-Ho for the most part just looked good and only gave a decent performance in one episode towards the end, where for one moment he really looked like he was heartbroken. The rivalry between him and Kim Woo-Bin was interesting towards the end, even funny, but totally annoying at the beginning. Choi Jin-Hyuk was eye candy, and I would have liked a slightly different ending, but I guess you can't have everything. But what I truly did enjoy, more than anything else, and what made it worth seeing, was the Krystal/Kang Min Hyuk pairing. I haven't seen something that cute in a long time (if ever); those two were absolutely great together. With them, all the other "pain" was easy to overcome. There was a good scene here and there, and I even laughed a few times. The story is on the weak side, but some of the dialogue is above average. I would have given it a better rating if they had cut some of it. At times I had a little trouble understanding why the story was going in a given direction, although the characters were more or less understandable. I also found the OST to be mediocre, just annoying everyone around me with the idea that “love is a moment" (over and over again, just that line). I was expecting something awesome, and ended up with a valley of tears brightened only by a bright smile here and there. A better 2 stars. ()
