El polifacético Tom McCarthy dirige esta tragicomedia en la que Adam Sandler se convertirá en reparador de zapatos. Presentada en el festival de cine de Toronto, y con un reparto entre el que nos encontramos a veteranos como Dustin Hoffman, 'The Cobbler', es la historia de un solitario reparador de zapatos que un día, gracias a un viejo artilugio familiar, comenzará a ver el mundo desde las perspectiva de sus clientes, dándole la habilidad, literalmente, de caminar en sus zapatos, una habilidad que deberá aprender a utilizar.
