El polifacético Tom McCarthy dirige esta tragicomedia en la que Adam Sandler se convertirá en reparador de zapatos. Presentada en el festival de cine de Toronto, y con un reparto entre el que nos encontramos a veteranos como Dustin Hoffman, 'The Cobbler', es la historia de un solitario reparador de zapatos que un día, gracias a un viejo artilugio familiar, comenzará a ver el mundo desde las perspectiva de sus clientes, dándole la habilidad, literalmente, de caminar en sus zapatos, una habilidad que deberá aprender a utilizar. Sandler failed miserably with this one. The movie was quite civil, but it could have at least been a bit watchable. This flick was incredibly boring and the Jewish music motifs didn’t make it better, either.

This ending feels terribly lost and gives you the feeling that something that could have been still interesting is cut in half, but there's nothing you can do about it. When it comes to a movie with Sandler, I simply can't be objective. I enjoyed this film, there are interesting actors here, and even though the plot is not well executed, the journey was interesting and imaginative in some places.
