Esta serie de animación estadounidense sigue las aventuras de un científico llamado Rick Sánchez y su nieto, no tan listo como él, llamado Morty. Rick, que es alcohólico, tras 20 años de ausencia regresa para mudarse a vivir a casa de su hija Beth y su familia. Allí conoce a su nieto, un adolescente de 14 años y obsesionado con el sexo con el cual comparte multitud de aventuras. Pero no solo se encuentra con él, sino también con su yerno Jerry, un publicista bastante inepto, así como con su otra nieta, la cínica Summer. Entre las aventuras que viven el científico y su nieto se encuentran diversos viajes espaciales y exploraciones científicas disparatadas gracias a los inventos más estrambóticos que Rick es capaz de diseñar. Por culpa de estas alocadas aventuras la familia se ve rodeada de extraterrestres y situaciones extrañas s que causan todo un torbellino en la vida de la familia que impide que puedan llevar la vida normal que desean. Season 1 (2013) (S01)
I was avoiding Rick and Morty for a long time due to its simple and poor animation, but I finally broke. An unbelievably powerful joyride full of smart and often subversive plots. Unpredictability, uncompromising one-liners and cruel lessons. Even the destruction of the fourth wall works great. Some part miss the target, but usually it’s a bullseye.

Season 2 (2015) (S02)
An upward tendency. Mainly the ending is a wow. And nobody knows yet that this is about McDonald’s Szechuan Sauce. I have a similar feeling for McCountry, which the jerks canceled too! Update: Mc Country’s back on the breakfast menu?! Who’s been hacking me?!

Season 3 (2017) (S03)
Season three is daring very dark and maybe contains the most significant episodes. Whether it is Rick the Pickle, a terrifying world made of Ricks and Mortys or the memory archive, it is almost always full on. Also the ending, Rick vs Obama, is priceless, especially their fight together.

Season 4 (2019) (S04)
Still great even though it seems to me that they often unnecessarily complicate things to extremes and the story loses its clarity. Superb one-liners with unbelievable cadence. The episode with the heaven where you can shit anywhere is a favorite and the writers should get a prize for the part with the vat of acid. This is the best cartoon sci-fi ever, or something like that. With a perfect moral.

Season 6 (2022) (S06)
Quality. Some of the episodes of this season are among the best of the series as a whole. The first place is proudly held by the one about dishwashing and the nocturnal family.

Night Family (2022) (S06E04)
An ideal pre-sleep watch. Nighttime versions of us who do what we don’t want to is a concept taken to perfection. And it’s all crowned by a wild action sequence flirting with parody. One of the best episodes. Who wants a six-pack like that?!

Season 7 (2023) (S07)
The number of weaker bits is somehow increasing, Roiland's improvisation is sorely lacking, and even though the voice actors are good, the heart is missing. It's still pleasantly paced, but it's more like a retread of humor that has worked in the past. They’re playing it safe and not trying anything new.
