Michel es un hombre que siente una gran pasión por el jazz y acaba de encontrar un extraño álbum de música que desea escuchar tranquilamente en la sala de esta de su casa. Pero parece que el mundo ha conspirado contra su persona ya que su esposa ha elegido ese preciso momento para hacerle una gran revelación. Por otro lado, su hijo ha llegado de improviso, uno de sus amigos ha aparecido en la puerta de su casa y su madre se mantiene en espera al otro lado del teléfono móvil. Maybe when I'm sixty, I will like these conservatively boring comedies about smug Frenchmen, flooded bathrooms and nervous wives and lovers. But probably not.

French star Christian Clavier delivers another outstanding performance in an interesting role set in an apartment where he wishes only one thing: to relax and play a record he discovered on the market, but due to constant complications, unexpected surprises and troubles, he just can't get to it. I laughed out loud a few times, but otherwise I think more could have been got out of it, but still decent. 65%.

An unpretentious and intimate hour and a quarter set mainly in one apartment, dominated by Christian Clavier's performance. While the film doesn't work as well on a comic level as Serial (Bad) Weddings (also starring Clavier), it still offers some funny and hilarious scenes. It's a shame about the mediocrity, because the potential was there.

Las películas francesas tienen el listón muy alto y las adaptaciones cinematográficas de obras de teatro en ese formato tienen pocas posibilidades de éxito. Sí, en comparación mundial, tal vez sería suficiente para estar por encima de la media, pero en la escala francesa fue una gran debilidad y una imitación inferior. Christian Clavier gives a very good performance, where basically the whole film is based on him and how he handles his role. And he handles it well. Truthfully, I would've collapsed early and told everyone to go to hell. Moreover, there are some characters here who are nice and who can occasionally liven things up nicely when it starts to become monotonous.
