Tetsuzo, más conocido en Occidente como Hokusai, fue un artista célebre en todo Japón por sus sorprendentes obras. Lo que mucha gente desconoce es que la tercera de sus cuatro hijas, O-Ei, una joven terca e independiente, realizó anónimamente muchas de las obras que hoy en día se le atribuyen a su padre. A biographical film in the style of Japanese animation is refreshing. That is probably the main thing that can be said about the film "Miss Hokusai." It is refreshing, but not great. It is a biographical story that has its dramatic and strong elements, but there are also moments that left me cold and a little bored. But the animation works.
