The second action-packed sequel to the blaxploitation hit "Shaft." This time, private eye John Shaft gets kidnapped and taken to Africa, where he's forced into helping an Ethiopian emir put an end to a modern-day slave ring. Even in this case, it's not a huge miracle, but still, it has something going for it, a bit of a deeper social subtext, and very good characters in all roles. Otherwise, it's a bit arduous and takes a while to get to those truly interesting moments that grab you and that you'll remember.
