Season 1 (2016) (S01)

inglés Well, I was expecting something a bit more from the manga artist behind One Punch Man. Sure, it has got a bit of momentum, some atmosphere, and sometimes there are some pretty good jokes, however, it just did not reach the same standard as OPM. As far as the animation is concerned, I was more or less expecting something like this, because this is what the art style of the gentleman behind the pseudonym "ONE" really looks like. Even the original version of OPM looked something like this, although due to overwhelming interest from manga readers, it was remade as a digital adaptation (illustrated by Yusuke Murata) to create the version we know from the anime series or even from the second (digital) version of the manga... Unfortunately, let us be honest with ourselves here, ONE is not the most precise mangaka, and his style is quite distinctive and unfortunately not very appealing. However, it is an acquired taste! So the main question regarding MP100 is where the plot is heading to, how hilarious the comedy aspect will be, and how I am going to get used to the boy they called Mob. As far as the plot goes, there is a significant shift and practically from the moment Mob meets another "esper" it starts to get quite interesting and even slowly goes on to get better. As far as the comedy element is concerned, as I already mentioned, there were a few good jokes, although otherwise it was quite weak. I did not get along with Mob either, and I am going to agree with Starletka that his emotional outbursts were not something to really write home about… Well, I have reached the conclusion it is better than average, which in this case is not actually much of a win. 6/10. Season 2 (2019) (S02)

inglés I preferred the second season of Mob Psycho 100 to the first as I just enjoyed it more. I immediately liked the first episode of this second season, which I found a bit deeper and more sophisticated than anything I had previously seen (in the first season). I found its short story very interesting. I also liked the character development, the fact that at some point the main male protagonist Mob was able to stand up to his "master", and his character finally started to come through more intensely as he was rather flat in the first season compared to this. Similarly, Reigen was increasingly more likable in this season. In addition to all that, I also enjoyed the ending and the final fight scene, although there was too much talking for my taste. However, it was also suspenseful in certain moments and the graphics were especially quite interesting. So, I do not feel disappointed and I am awarding this 6.7/10. ()

Season 3 (2022) (S03)

inglés Mob Psycho 100 is definitely over, and the third season was a rollercoaster for me. There were episodes that I really looked forward to, enjoying the story and the character development. However, there were also passages that didn't really do it for me. I'm still wondering about the point of those two episodes about aliens... As in the previous seasons, most of the humor in the series went past me. Mob just never really worked for me as a comedy. Then again, I enjoyed how the series worked with the main characters and their development. Animation-wise, it was a combination of the author's distinctive style, which I've grown accustomed to, and the masterfully handled fights and overall capturing of motion, enhanced by plenty of displays of artistic creativity, such as imaginative use of color. On the one hand, I'm happy with the ending. I liked the concept of coming to terms with oneself. On the other, as usual with this series, I was expecting a little more. Overall, Mob Psycho 100 is a decent series with a good story and some interesting characters and if you happen to like its humor, you’ll really enjoy it. As for me, I was pleased, but not amused, and even puzzled by certain parts of this season. 6.6/10 ()
