It's a very over-the-top sci-fi, but only because the creators wanted to impress and captivate the audience with intriguing digital effects. They're not that interesting, but admittedly, they're not too shabby either. It all leads to a rather silly story that aims to be flashy but falls far short of that. A forgettable TV B-movie.
