inglés When out drinking, some people might end up with a hangover, some people might spontaneously take home an overnight guest, and well, a woman named Kobayashi unknowingly invited a dragon into her home. Although she is more of a dragon than a human, she has decided to live with Kobayashi as her maid in human form. This anime series is based on a very unusual idea, and one suspects that people are probably not really expecting an intelligent show full of wisdom and life lessons, although, who knows, the show has its strong points. In the end, you wind up watching something that could easily be called "Everyday Life with Dragon Girls". The audience is introduced to a very attractive and perverted dragon, and also a woman in her mid-thirties who is quite believable, and who also seems quite mature, until she starts downing the beers and her maid-fetish rears its ugly head. The humor is mostly preposterous with jokes that are variations on the theme of How to Train Your Dragon, then there are simple jokes like the one about bra-size (because D stands for Dragon!) and also plenty of situations that are just amusing because of their cuteness and weirdness. Gradually more dragons show up because as we have now learned from a certain monster anime I have previously mentioned, one is just never enough. However, I definitely found their characters fascinating, no matter how simple they might be, and Kanna easily tops my cuteness chart for this season. So unlike Everyday Life with Monster Girls, this is not just an anime series dominated by fanservice (though there is some), but rather by wittiness and cuteness, and I enjoyed it despite the emotionally charged ending, and would happily be up for watching another season. Likable, humorously quirky, and slightly ridiculous – a very good combination for me – so I am awarding this 7.5/10. ()
