A pretty decent adaptation of The Monkey King, and there haven't been many better things in the fantasy genre in quite some time. Eddie Peng and Shawn Yue are good, the visual effects are decent for China (the finale is pretty epic), and the action is good, even if it surprisingly wasn't as much as I would have liked. Decent. Story***, Action***, Humor*, Violence*, Entertainment***, Music***, Visuals****, Atmosphere****, Suspense***. 6/10.
