Un anillo que pertenece a los seguidores de la Diosa Kali termina accidentalmente en la mano derecha de Ringo Starr, el baterista de los Beatles. Así comenzó una cacería humana (o mejor dicho, del anillo) que parte de Londres y termina en las Bahamas, a través de los Alpes suizos. También están involucrados en la búsqueda unos científicos locos que quieren el anillo para ser famosos. (JRB Producciones)

When it comes to The Beatles, I simply cannot be objective, this is a love for a lifetime. Just hearing one of their songs fills me with a pleasant feeling of nostalgia and beautiful enjoyment at the same time. Moreover, this movie is simply a wonderful absurd comedy where the characters were mainly just playing around rather than anything else. And I'm all for it. Plus, it's spy-action.

From start to finish, this is a meticulously calculated affair, riding on the stellar, phenomenal popularity of The Beatles. The screenplay is thin and essentially silly, the performances mediocre, but none of that really matters. This film was made for the music, and the screenplay is basically just a bridge between the songs. After all, why not? For Beatles fans, it's a must-watch; for everyone else, an interesting pop-cultural phenomenon and a snapshot of the era. Overall impression: 55%.
