On Tanabata, after receiving a letter from Ratman, Kitaro and the others visit a bamboo forest. In the strange bamboo forest where the bamboo flowers bloom in disarray, they get separated from the Plastered Wall. As they worry, Kitaro and the others spot a girl who is all alone. The girl attacks them and warns them to get out of the forest before leaving. Meanwhile, separated from Kitaro and injured, the Plastered Wall can't move. That same girl passes by.
