Sinopsis(1)

Fable is a legendary yakuza hitman, equal to none. Suddenly his boss orders him and his sultry associate to lay low and live a ‘normal life’ because “top assassins need that skill.” While undercover he meets the charming Misaki who gets him a delivery job. Meanwhile, recent convict Kojima overdoses on hubris, stirring up the underworld and endangering Misaki. Fable is forced into action in order to rescue her. A picture-perfect antihero-comedy manga adaptation, The Fable is a vibrant pastiche of kinetic storytelling, wry humor, nail biting suspense and hyperbolic action that cannot be missed! inglés An excellent action romp from Japan about a legendary and feared hitman. He now has the task of becoming a normal citizen, but the shadows of the past catch up with him and he will need to get back into action. There is some similarity to the recent Hit Man from South Korea, but The Fable takes a slightly different path and it is very good in every way. The action scenes are intense, with elaborate choreography, the main hero is a professional in every move and it was a joy to watch him in action. There are one-on-one fights and shootouts, and during the shootouts there are nice informative inserts (mathematical equations of his shooting), or a touch of comic book style when the hero hits a headshot or any other organ, the creators make it known, and I haven't seen that anywhere before. The humor works, the visuals are packed, there is plenty of action, likable characters, the film has excellent pace and is never boring. Those who enjoy action rides with spicy and crazy humor will be satisfied. Story***, Action****, Humor***, Violence***, Entertainment****, Music***, Visuals****, Atmosphere****, Tension****. 8/10. inglés An action comedy driven at times to absurdity; if that’s your thing you won’t want to miss this! There's no shortage of violence, there's action too, but as it happens – the beginning just breaks us in so that the whole film is sort of a calm before the big final storm. The entire film is basically the Yakuza getting up to no good around The Fable, but he doesn’t care, he just kind of goes about his ordered ordinary life, enjoying lame humor and hating hot food. It was interesting, and from the previews I feel like the sequel will be better. We'll see. ()
