inglés Once again, I've confirmed that Byeong-heon Lee is a master actor. Politics is definitely not a topic I crave in a movie, but somehow I was intrigued by the poster and felt like watching the above, so I gave it a shot. I got into the plot pretty much after a few minutes, and very soon I was riding the wave of enjoying the great acting job the main character was doing here. And boy was he ever... 4 stars. ()

inglés This is a big hit in the South Korea, and I'm not surprised, because it's exactly the kind of patriotic film that Koreans enjoy, plus it stars their biggest star Lee Byung-hun, who is excellent again. I was honestly expecting it to be very boring, as the politics of South Korea are beyond me, but it's quite engagingly made. The film is set in 1970 when Korea is under the absolute domination of President Park, who also controls the KCIA organization. Of course, not everyone likes that and there are already plans for assassination. I enjoyed the final bloody shootout and there were a few suspenseful moments, so all in all a decent political thriller where fans of the sub-genre can add an extra star.
