In a dark and mythical re-telling of classic tale of good versus evil, the TV series ‘Mortal Kombat Conquest’ follows the fierce warrior Kung Lao and his comrades Taja and Siro on their quest to protect the earth realm from falling under the control of the evil conqueror of realms Shao Kahn, ruler of the Outworld. Vital to the survival of mankind are warriors who can compete in Mortal Kombat. While combatants from Outworld have magic and darkness on their side, fighters from the Earth Realm have only their strength, both physical and mental, and belief that their cause is just and right. inglés A forgotten series that, to my great joy, draws heavily from gaming mythology and expands everything into unexpectedly intricate dimensions. However, over time, the central storyline takes a backseat and the trio of rather shallow heroes fall into stereotypical episodes such as "a girl is lured into the trap of hallucinating her deceased father", which seem to have come straight out of cheapness like in the TV series Lord of Beasts. The final ending was all the more surprising because, in addition to the strong spiritual line, it also adds almost constant action and, above all, a conclusion that will make you wonder how it is possible that you simply didn't realize it had to happen.
