Sinopsis(1)
La promesa de la Ciudad del viento de ofrecer aventuras y oportunidades deslumbra a Roxie Hart, una actriz aparentemente inocente que sueña con que el baile y la canción le permitan abandonar su humilde vida. El mayor deseo de Roxie es seguir los dorados pasos de la artista de vodevil Velma Kelly. Roxie consigue su sueño cuando algunos actos equivocados acaban con la artista y la debutante en la cárcel, ambas acusadas de sendos asesinatos. Bajo el maligno cuidado de la guardiana Morton, Roxie consigue reunirse con el legendario abogado Billy Flynn que acepta el caso de Roxie a cambio de unos cuantiosos honorarios. La carrera de Roxie despega, con el disgusto de su mentor. Pero la astuta Señorita Kelly nos reserva algunas sorpresas para el segundo acto. (Universal Pictures España)
