I was quite surprised by this comedy. I had never seen it before, not even when I was younger on television, so there was no nostalgia for me. Steve Martin, who was tolerable for me for once, mainly because his role was excellently tailored to him, had an impact on me. The man/woman role suited him well and I had a good time. It's a shame about the almost unnecessary romantic subplot.
