inglés The Wrong Missy doesn't stand out above the romantic comedies of yesteryear in terms of story and denouement, but it does offer an utterly wacky Lauren Lapkus, who makes it an incredibly wild piece that, while mediocre in the end, is also memorable. It's crazy and relaxing in one! ()

inglés A fine respite that pleasantly revives a dying genre even though it brings nothing new. It's a pity that David Spade is probably the least expressive of the comedic actors – the guy is simply not funny – but fortunately the film is saved by newcomer Lauren Lapkus, who was excellent. She's properly crazy, and steals most of the scenes for herself. If it weren't for her, the film wouldn't even work. There was no big laugh outburst, but I was smiling for almost the entire running time. inglés When I saw the logo of Adam Sandler's production company in the beginning, I blinked at it, waiting to see what would happen. Either a total failure or a total win. That’s how it mostly is with his movies. This movie, however, despite the lack of presence of Sandler himself, managed to do alright. More than alright, actually. You have to get used to Lauren Lapkus’s nutjob character, who at one moment takes it to the extreme, but then it only gets better and better. A total chillout, David Spade was more than enough as a male lead and a few small roles played by Rob Schneider or Vanilla Ice elevated it into a Sandler classic. In this case, without Sandler. ()
